Leura is 90 minutes from the heart of Sydney - along the M4 Freeway and then up to the mountains via the Great Western Highway.

Hurlstone, set in pleasant gardens, is 500 metres from the village, with its galleries, antique shops, coffee houses and good restaurants.

A short stroll, the other way, leads to bushwalks, fairy dells and waterfalls, not to mention the magnificent views from the cliff-tops.

The area is a golfer’s dream with Leura golf course only 2.5 Km from your door, while several others are less than 20 minutes drive away.

Swimming and other activities are available at the heated Aquatic Centre in nearby Katoomba.
